Winter Break please go away!

Well, today was the first day of winter break and let me say Im ready for them to go back to school! Okay, it's only 2 that go to school, because I homeschool my oldest, Jalen who it 9, but those 2 are the most nerve wreaking. lol They are my girls Zarah 6, and Laila 5 and they are a handful. I love them though! 
  Today also was Quinn's 2 month well check. He is now 11lbs and 2oz, I actually thought he was bigger than that! He got 3 shots today and I didn't have time to go get him tylenol because I left the three oldest at home with my husband who was asleep ( he works overnight and I was not taking all 5 with me). Well I got home and my house was intacted! That was really shocking since Zarah always gets into food when no one is paying attention to her! lol Anyways, now he has a fever because I didn't get a chance to go back to the store before Printice left for work. My mom is on her way with some though, he has been very good concidering all he has been through today. 
    I'm telling ya having 5 kids is a full time job in its self, not to mention I still haven't found time to wrap there Christmas presents yet, how crazy is that!

Ok, I had to put this picture on here. I made these shirts before #5 (Quinn) was born and he just now fit into the shirt. It was funny listening to #'s 3 (Laila) and 4 (Omari) arguing over their numbers, they both wanted to be #1! lol I tried to explain that their number was what child they were and it was just hilarious! My kids can take anything and make it into a circus let me tell ya!

My first Blog ever!

       I'm not sure what to say in my first blog! lol I guess I'll start by introducing myself. My name is Sarah and I am married with 5 beautiful children. My oldest is 9 and his name is Jalen. He is the smartest 9yr old I know and he'll sure show it! He loves to talk, read books, and fish. He is also a great helper around here.  Zarah is my 6yr old. She is myself when I was little. Your parents always say you will grow up and have a kid just like you. Well, it happened! LOL She is just as mouthy and stubborn as I was but I love her! Zarah is a great singer but doesn't want anyone to know, so don't tell her you know. She also loves to draw and watch movies. 
       Now my whiney childs name is Laila and she is 5. I don't think she has ever talked in a normal voice! haha Laila loves to read and color, and she is always laughing. She also sings all day everyday but she CAN NOT carry a tune. I don't tell her that though but I think I need to before she ends up on American Idol arguing with Simon Cowell that she's a good singer! lol  Okay on to my 3yr old son Omari. He is a total boy. He has already has stitches, and a cut glued shut, and he is always climbing on something. He loves football and the movie CARS, and he is always saying or doing something to make us laugh. Quinn is my newest and he is 8 weeks old. He is the calmest little boy, I think he will be my serious one because he is just studies your every look and move. I am nursing him so he is starting to want to be held a lot more but hey, you only get to hold for so long before they don't want you to even touch them!
      I have recently started homeschooling Jalen a few months ago. That is an entire adventure of its own. He has ADHD and needed more time to do homework sometimes and the public school would not help with that so I just took upon myself to try to help him. I didn't have everyone in our family on my side with my decision but thats ok. I am also in school online through Kaplan University. I have my days where I just want to run away and hide because I have doing way to much but I know it will make us a better family in the long run!
