First Day of School Pictures

Well I had to get on my phone to put up the pics of the first day of school. Thank goodness for smartphones lol

It's back to school we go

  I can't believe that school has started and August is almost over! This year 4 out of 5 kids are in Elementary school, Jalen is in the 5th, Zarah is in the 3rd, Laila is in the 2nd, and Omari is a big Kindergartener! Quinn is in Early Head Start, which he has been in since he was 5 wks, but they just come to the house once a week until he is 3 and can go to the school. He will be start daycare on the 4th of Sept which I am excited for him and a little worried because he has never been with anyone but family and he will be 2 in Oct. I'm sure he will fine but he is my baby and I think I'll be lost with no one making noise all day LOL
   Printice and I also started our online classes with VU on Monday. Printice still hasn't gotten the swing of it and is still putting is last but I'm sure once he gets used to being school again after a billion years he'll do fine. This year I had to drop down to part time because my GPA wasn't so good, so hopefully with all the kids at school and daycare I should be able to get all my work done.
    Also Girl Scouts is starting this coming Thursday. I'm excited for this year because both girls are now Brownies and their leader, who is awesome by the way, has tons of cool things planned for them this year, as she always does. Since Printice is on days I will be able to help way more than last year.
  And I almost forgot, I am the new crossing guard at North Elementary this year! It doesn't pay much but it gets me outta the house and gives me some extra spending money. Its not as hard as I thought it'd be and talking to the little kids is pretty fun, they say some funny stuff. There is this one little girl that has the prettiest smile I have ever seen and when I tell her have a good day she always says thank you and she can't be more the 7 or 8, she is just adorable lol

Spring is almost gone!!

Today was Omari's Head Start graduation. I can't believe that he is now going to be a Kindergartener! He was so excited today but I don't think he realizes that he won't be going to school next. LOL
 Other that there hasn't been much going on here except the girls are just about done with this year of Girl Scouts and Omari is doing soccer. Jalen is going to be going to some summer camps as soon as school is over in Evansville with his Grandma.  We did take some pictures on Easter. Poor Omari got sick in the night so he didn't get to go to church that morning, he was so upset, but he felt better in the afternoon and got to hunt eggs.

Got bored...

So the other day I got kind bored and watched some videos on youtube about makin tutus and bows. Here is the end results. The bow was a little harder to make than it looked but if I do it a few more times Im sure it will get easier. The tutu was very easy to make and kina fun. I didnt get enough tulle at first so i need to go back and get more.

Hello Twenty Twelve!!

Last night we finally got to go out by ourselves to celebrate the New Year! We were so excited! LOL My mom watched the kids so I don't have a picture of them at midnight, hopefully she took some.

Can't believe it's been so long!!!

Wow, I can't believe its been almost a year since I've last posted! Well, Im not going to bore you with our entire happenings of the last year. lol So, really quick, Printice went back to work at Futaba in May, Jalen went back to Lena Dunn this school year for the 4th grade and is doing fantastic, Omari is in Head Start this year and loves and I am helping out a lot there as I always do. He also played soccer last spring and this fall and loved it. Laila is getting great grades in the 1st grade this year, Zarah isn't doing so hot in school because she doesn't want to do her homework lol and Mr. Quinn turned 1! Its been a crazy year but hopefully I can post aleast once a week from now on. Here are some pics of our adventures this year!

The Experience

 In this house we love Michael Jackson so when we heard they had a video game for the Wii, Michael Jackson The Experience, we had to rent it. Its like just dance but with real dancers ( I think) and you can get up to 5 stars depending on how could you are. Anyways, everyone got into and Printice and I started trying to beat each other, of course I won! Laila was the only one to get upset because she couldn't get any stars so I started putting her name down when I would get 4 stars. We had to bribe Zarah to play because it involved exercise so she didn't want to play at first, but she loved it once she did!
